I have been going to Avec for about 15 years. They are excellent, as most of my community also goes there. I am sure that I have written review/s for them before, but I just had an interaction with Justin that has prompted me to write another review. I have to bring my car in for an inspection and I asked about my air conditioning not working properly. The posssible fix for this problem is far more complex than I imagined. Justin explained the options, which were many, as well as the costs. I had numerous questions and he patiently answered all my quesions. We were on the phone discussing this for about 15 minutes. Our interaction was just another example of Avec's transparency and their working with the customer as to what will be the best solution. Thank you, Justin and Avec!!

7/7/26 Towed 1969 Camaro in because it was not running. 7/13/26 They put electronic ignition in . They did do nice job lining front up and adjusting choke on carb. Something happened with emergency brake as emergency brake light no longer works. Car started nice and I left AVEC. 7/13/26 Got car home and next day and had same problem - it did not start cold (7/14/26 ) Also wiring harness was cracked , wires not retaped . Very messy job. 7/14/26 Had to tow it again to AVEC . 7/17/26 Andy said ignition coil went bad . 7/20/26 Andy said new electronic ignition went bad . 7/23/26 He eventually got those parts in and told me it ran good. 7/24/26 Andy called me said it would not start cold. Andy said he was going to change power valve in carburetor. I told him, to please donβt do that and put the car outside. (At this point car was still not running and I think parts were being thrown at it to get it to run). 7/24/26 I asked Andy if he could refund me some of the $1125.00 and he said βNOβ ( be mindful I brought the car in mainly because it was not running & still not running) 7/24/26 Towed the car to another shop . They Had it running nicely with a new distributor cap and rotor.

As a woman who doesnβt know anything about cars, other than I should take mine in when the light comes on, ACEV Service Center was a class act from start to finish. I came here when my brakes were making a noise, based on a recommendation from a friendβs father and I had an awesome experience. Someone always answers the phone, they are flexible with appointments, and walk you through everything in terms of what your car needs and pricing. They are honest with their estimates, and told me I only needed my rear breaks done at the time, and definitely couldβve gotten me to pay for both. The day of service they called me to re-explain everything, and the job was even less than they quoted me for. The works was completed on-time, and Iβm very happy with the results. I will definitely be back!

5 stars for honesty and integrity. As we all know, TRUST is vital in automotive repair. REPEAT customers are vital to grow and sustain your business. Recently I returned for my second oil change when it was due. After I got home, I noticed that a little oil was leaking. I also noticed a note on the receipt mentioning that they repaired a stripped oil drain plug and the initials of the last person to change my oil. When I returned the next morning, they put my car on the lift and determined that the repair to the stripped plug did not hold. So Iβd need a new oil pan. The owner TOOK FULL RESPONSIBILITY and told me the person who changed my oil last time no longer works there because heβs damaged more than a few drain plugs. When they discover this in subsequent visits they drill out the old plug, re-tap a new hole and put in a slightly larger plug. The owner told me that most of the time this works as a permanent fix, but since mine wasnβt, they permanently sealed the leak with silicone and asked me to come back for a COMPLETELY FREE NEW OIL PAN INSTALLATION. My point: many other businesses might just play the grey area game and tell me something like my 17 y.o. Lexus is getting ol

10/10 I highly recommend AVEC Service Center. Over several years my family has exclusively worked with AVEC for ongoing auto maintenence on multiple vehicles. I've consistently found that AVEC personnel is friendly, accomodating, transparent and honest. This shop is a throwback to an era when customer service was still important and integrity earned referrals and repeat business. They do good work for fair rates and I will not hesitate to recommend AVEC to anyone in the local area that needs a trusted automotive service partner.
